Before I used CBD for my arthritis I was a reluctant walker. As I wrote in my previous post, my preferred physical activity is rollerblading. I wanted to walk, but the impact of walking aggravates the arthritis in my knees, and lower back. Go figure. It all started slowly enough. Pain when walking. Less walking. Less activity caused me to put on a few pounds, which didn't help the pain in my knees, and back. I was popping the ibuprofen so much my stomach started to be effected. After hearing about the success my son from-another-mother, who suffered from childhood sport injuries, had with CBD; I stopped taking the ibuprofen, and headed to the pharmacy to pick up some CBD spray. I experienced almost instant relief. The CBD oil took away the pain. No stomach upset, no kidney failure; no kidding. I even give CBD to my Australian shepherd who is almost 17 years old. And that, is when I started to look forward to walking the dog. Now when we walk I am not dreading the times I have to bend down to clean up after her. It really wasn't the bending down that was the problem, rather, it was returning to an upright position. Now instead of rushing through the walk I actually look forward to it. I have shed the few pounds I put on and that also helps my aging knees. I am always looking for shit to make stuff and I had walked past some cool things because it would have required me to bend over multiple times- not anymore! Check out what's in my basket. I made a magnet from the stuff I found on my urban walks with my dog. I don't know the name of the tree that these leaves come from but I knew from the first time I saw them I was going to make some cool shit. I removed the stem, cut the leaf, and painted the body gold. Attached the body and antennae with hot glue. Cut a strip off of an old refrigerator magnet attach with more hot glue and... Tah dahhh! This would look cool on a stainless steel refrigerator. Perhaps YOUR refrigerator! Just be the first to comment. No shipping, no handling,-no kidding! This awesome magnet was brought to you by: Cannabis. When you need to get shit done. No risk of stomach upset or kidney failure. Note: This is also brought to you by cannabis. Sometimes the magic works.... ...keeping it 100rd.

AuthorI'm Karen! I am in the middle of celebrating 57 years of life. I am a Family Services Provider and self proclaimed Cakeologist. For the last four years of this life I have been calling California home. The best part of living in California is the ability to play outside any time of the year. Because of medical cannabis, I am able to play more, and sit on the sidelines less pain free. I tackle children, climb mountains, and take long walks on the beach with all the other hopeless romantics. And I wish for you to be able to play more and enjoy your life pain free too! Join me as I share what I've learned about medical cannabis and how that knowledge has given me the courage to get my life back. ArchivesCategories |
